Synopsis

A girl rescues and raises a wolfdog named Taki while a man-eating bear preys on the villagers. In the end, it is up to Taki and his pack to take down this predator.

My Thoughts

Watched the unofficial fandub by Silver Fang Fandubs.

Pretty good if not basic story that was very clearly an inspiration to the Ginga Nagareboshi Gin manga. This fandub has pretty well acted characters, though at times the voices were too loud/soft.

The animation is decent as far as seventies anime goes from what I’ve seen. If you can deal with animal death and some violence/gore, maybe check this one out. It’s not perfect, but I think some xenofiction fans will enjoy it. Either check out the fandub or fansub, as I think there’s no official English release!
